This is
a stylish, fresh, and delicate Chardonnay,
with a distinct aromatic citrus nose. The
palate shows wonderful well balanced creamy
and luscious tropical fruit flavours that
are integrated with a long lingering fresh
finish.
Winemakers Comments
Good seasonal rains and a long, cool
ripening period has resulted in excellent
grape flavours. Harvest took place on March
2004, with the grapes immediately processed
into juice for fermentation. This unwooded
chardonnay was fermented with an ideal yeast
which enhances the strong varietal flavours.
After fermentation the wine was stabilised
and bottled to retain its full fruit
flavours.
