Gum Bear Cabernet Sauvignon

The Cabernet Sauvignon displays rich, complex dark berry and ripe cassis aromas that are typical of modern premium Coonawarra grapes. The palate offers intense blackcurrant throughout with fine-grained tannins. Subtle influences of American Oak create a complex and satisfying finish to delight every palate.

Winemakers Comments
Agood growing season with good fruit set, was followed by an extended growing season. Harvest began quite late in April to obtain maximum flavour. The red grapes
were crushed and fermented in small static fermenters for seven days. The wine was then pressed and aged for 16 months in small American and French Oak. Minimal handling and light filtration has resulted in this very appealing regional cabernet sauvignon.
